Piotr Wysocki

As part of the exhibition “Space. Development.” the curators invited young artists to show spatial installations.

In the historical hall of the former Norblin Factory Piotr Wysocki presented the “Krystian Burda Monument”, an installation that consists of the film by Krystian Burda “A Road to Żelazowa Wola – a study of spacetime” and of the film “Szczytelnienie”. Burda’s film, the graduation work of the artist from 1961, is a vision of a monument commemorating the work of Fryderyk Chopin on the occasion of the composer’s 150th birthday. Wysocki’s film is a meeting with the artist, a question about the rhythm and an attempt to refer to Burda’s black and white film after 50 years.
