Dominik Jałowiński
Visual artist, performer, painter, creator of collages. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 2008 he defended his diploma thesis in the studio of prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak at the Faculty of Painting. He was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2015.
At the beginning of his career, he carried out several performances at the Aspekt Gallery under the eaves of his alma mater and participated in the European Performing Arts Festival EPAF’07 in Lublin and the International Performance Art Festival at the Arsenał Gallery in Bialystok.
His work were exhibited, among others, at the Foksal Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, Xawery Dunikowski Museum of Sculpture Królikarnia (a branch of the National Museum) in Warsaw, at the Mazovian Center for Contemporary Art “Elektrownia” in Radom, as well as at the Ludwig Museum in Budapest and at the Museum of Yugoslavia in Belgrade.
